Position SummaryThis role is responsible for coordinating all inbound and outbound freight, as well as procuring raw materials to support Manufacturing and Tableting & Packaging (T&P) operations. The position works closely with production and logistics teams to ensure materials availability and efficient product movement.
Key Responsibilities- Procure raw materials and components for the main plant, based on direction from the production team
- Procure components for Tableting & Packaging (T&P), as directed by the T&P production team
- Collaborate with production teams to determine product availability for shipment to T&P
- Manage third-party finished goods for direct customer sale or repackaging at T&P
- Coordinate and oversee all inbound and outbound rail shipments
- Create and maintain regulatory and shipping documentation for non-company-produced products stored at external facilities
- Supervise and direct the Shipping Department, including:
- Coordination of loading and unloading activities
- Management of intra-plant truck freight
- Completion of all required shipping documentation
Required Skills & Qualifications- Strong working knowledge of SAP, including (but not limited to):
- MIGO, material transfers, PGI, picking, deliveries, shipments, STOs, and inventory adjustments
- Ability to partner effectively with internal stakeholders and adapt to changing production and inventory plans
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general PC applications
- Ability to communicate and collaborate across multiple levels of the organization
Preferred Experience- 10+ years of manufacturing or related experience
- 5+ years of SAP experience in inventory management and material planning
- Prior supervisory or management experience in a union environment

The expected compensation range for this position is between $70,250.00 and $103,026.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
