Sayres is seeking an experienced
RATT Lead - Amphibious (Steam) Team in San Diego, CA with a SECRET clearance, verifiable in DISS.
Position SummaryThe Steam RATT Lead provides expert assessments of steam propulsion plants, engineering operations, and maintenance programs aboard amphibious ships.
Responsibilities- Lead steam propulsion readiness assessments.
- Evaluate plant operations, maintenance execution, and engineering performance.
- Identify readiness risks and corrective actions.
- Provide technical guidance to ship leadership and Government stakeholders.
- Prepare reports and readiness recommendations.
Qualifications- Minimum 15 years of Navy engineering supervisory experience.
- Extensive EOOW, PPWO, Chief Engineer, or equivalent steam plant experience.
- Strong knowledge of Navy steam propulsion systems and maintenance processes.
- Experience supporting TYCOM, ISIC, ATG, or maintenance organizations.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 25+ years highly desirable.
Occasional travel may be required. Support is primarily based in San Diego, CA, with occasional travel to Navy fleet concentration areas including Everett, WA; Pearl Harbor, HI; Sasebo, Japan; Yokosuka, Japan; and Singapore, as well as other customer locations as required.Salary Range: $90,000-$140,000, commensurate with experience.Compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and market considerations.The position description is only meant to be a representative summary of the major responsibilities and accountabilities performed by the incumbents of this position.
