The salary range for this position is $40.26 - $60.76 per hour. Your Key Responsibilities- Prepare, supply, and equip exam rooms to meet examination and physician requirements.
- Organize daily work schedules and perform related clerical duties.
- Integrate previous imaging studies, lab results, patient history, and medical records to optimize exams.
- Perform appropriate examinations based on patient information, consulting with physicians as needed.
- Provide clear patient education and instruction before and after examinations.
- Adapt exams to address patient care problems and make appropriate decisions for resolution.
- Perform x-ray examinations applying proper infection control and radiation safety measures, including ALARA principles.
- Evaluate patients for pregnancy before exams as indicated.
- Potentially perform surgical x-ray examinations, adhering to AORN standards and radiation safety measures.
- Perform other patient care activities and duties consistent with your scope of practice, training, and licensure.
Skills and Qualifications You'll BringEducation: Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology is required.
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is preferred.
- Required knowledge of PACS/RIS.
- Demonstrated knowledge and ability to apply age-specific principles of growth and development to meet each patient's needs.
Credentials:
- Required: Washington Radiology Technologist license.
- Required: ARRT-R certification.
- Required Upon Hire: Basic Life Support (BLS).
