Qualifications

  • Minimum four years experience as a Radiologic Technologist and/or Nuclear.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee receptionist and file clerk staffing and performance.
  • Ensure availability and maintenance of necessary equipment and supplies for patient care.
  • Monitor equipment for compliance with NYDOH and TJC standards.
  • Handle payroll timekeeping functions.
  • Train and mentor new staff members in the department's operations.

Responsibilities

The daily supervision of the Radiology Department both Andrus and Dobbs Ferry pavilions is an essential component to increase productivity and utilize the necessary staffing requirements to ensure the best standard of care. Assist the various imaging modalities to enhance workflow and overall performance.

 

• Oversee day to day operations within the Radiology dept.• Nuclear and Radiologic Technologist delegation of assignments, staffing, and workflow management.• Receptionist/file clerk staffing and monitoring.• Secures and maintains equipment and supplies to carry out effective patient care.• Equipment monitoring for up-to-date preventive maintenance and/or service required to be in NYDOH, TJC compliance.• Payroll timekeeping.• Responsible for the training and coaching of new staff rotating through the departments.• Participates in the human resources management function for the department by coordinating the selection, orientation and performance appraisal process.• Perform QA/QC on applicable equipment.• May function as staff technologist in applicable modalities• Produce high quality imaging.

Qualifications
