Complete Description:Exciting
opportunity to work in a fast paced, state-of-the art environment providing
specialized patient care to adult inpatient and outpatients undergoing
interventional radiology procedures (biopsies, embolization s, ablations,
angiography, drain placements and other image guided procedures). This
role includes preparing patients, intra-procedure monitoring and post procedure
recovery including PACU and extended stay (23-hour). IR is an essential
part of the critical embolization response team for trauma patients. This
role requires critical thinking, strong communication skills, and the ability
to work in a fast-paced/team-oriented environment. The IR RN collaborates
with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality patient centered care.
Must Have:
BLS
ACLS
Telemetry Experience
1 year of recent IR experience
NYS RN License
will be required to wear hospital issued and laundered scrub pants and tops in addition to other infection prevention measures when needed in procedural areas
