Radiologist Technologist

Location: Bloomfield, NJ
Entity: Alliance Orthopedics
Reports To: Senior Operations Manager

As a Radiologist Technologist, you will work side-by-side with our medical and conservative care teams. Imaging is an integral part of our practice that includes medical doctors, orthopedic surgeons, functional medicine practitioners, and pain management physicians. Additionally, our Radiologic Technologists function as medical liaisons within our care team of physical therapists, chiropractic physicians, clinical athletic trainers, occupational therapists, exercise physiologists, and more! An experienced Radiologic Technologist brings a unique role and perspective to the conservative care arm of our practice.

Summary of Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray procedures in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols.
  • Prepare, position, and educate patients while ensuring comfort, safety, and proper radiation protection practices.
  • Conduct quality control checks and maintain imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and image quality.
  • Accurately document patient information, imaging procedures, and related records in accordance with clinic policies.
  • Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to support efficient patient care and workflow.
  • Communicate imaging-related information to patients and healthcare team members as appropriate.
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory, safety, licensure, and certification requirements.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance imaging knowledge and technical skills.
  • Support scheduling, recordkeeping, and administrative best practices to promote operational excellence.
  • Deliver exceptional patient service and contribute to a positive outpatient orthopedic care experience.

Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Current New Jersey State Radiologic Technologist License.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning, anatomy, radiation safety, and imaging protocols.
  • Ability to produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Understanding of infection control standards, HIPAA regulations, and radiation protection practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills, especially the ability to show compassion for patients coming from all walks of life.
