How you'll make an impact in this role- Deliver diagnostic clarity by expertly positioning patients and selecting precise technical parameters, ensuring physicians receive the high-quality images necessary for accurate medical diagnoses.
- Champion patient safety by strictly adhering to radiation guidelines and monitoring vital signs during procedures, ensuring every patient is protected from unnecessary exposure.
- Manage the digital care journey by overseeing the seamless submission of images and patient data to the PACS system, maintaining the integrity of the medical record for the entire care team.
- Lead equipment excellence by monitoring technology performance and department readiness, ensuring all imaging tools are functioning perfectly and the clinical environment is safe and orderly.
- Collaborate on clinical protocols by recommending refinements to imaging workflows, helping the department stay agile and effective in delivering patient care.
What minimum requirements you'll needLicensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- One or more of the following required:
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. All speciaties accepted. General Radiography is also required in addition to any specialty. State Radiology Technologist licensure issued by Maryland Board of Physicians.
- Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) also accepted.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
