License: Registered by the ARRT in Clienttion Therapy
Certifications: Graduate of an approved AMA school of radiation technology

Must-Have:
- Strong understanding of radiation treatment setup and performance
- Proper operation of linear accelerators
- Fabrication of immobilization devices
- CT simulation performance and operation
- IGRT and IMRT application and performance
- Stereotactic radiosurgery operation and performance
- Proper positioning of patients for treatment and simulation procedures
- Detail-oriented with the ability to follow directions precisely

Description:
Performs patient therapy treatments and related activities.
Performs radiation treatments in accordance with established protocols.
Assists physicians in patient treatments and maintains patient records as required.
Ensures that the patient's clinical history is complete and completes associated paperwork.
Performs QA/QC equipment tests and simulator procedures when required.
Maintains and adheres to accepted sterile techniques and provides a clean environment within examination areas.
Shares emergency call duties as required.
Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development.
Possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status.
Interprets appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to their age-specific needs.
Reports directly to the Chief Physicist and Clienttion Oncology Manager.
Demonstrates knowledge of when a physician is needed for patient treatment as dictated by protocol.
Demonstrates knowledge and proper protocol for irradiating blood.

Ability to follow directions precisely and demonstrate initiative.
Ability to set priorities and function under stress.
Must be detail-oriented.

Physical Demands:
Constant walking, balancing, standing, turning, reaching, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, handling, and hand movements.
Frequent stooping and sitting.
Occasional running, climbing, crawling, and crouching.
Must be able to lift, handle, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to operate relevant medical equipment and assistive devices.
Requires good visual and hearing acuity for carrying out job-related tasks.
