Leidos' Ground Based Radar Digitization (GBRD) program is seeking an experienced
mechanical engineer to support the design of a large radar structure. This is a large, multi-phase radar program with concurrent development, test, production, and sustainment activities.
You will be responsible for design aspects of a very large transportable, modular structure and antenna array. Design scope includes the support structure, interfaces to the antenna array, packaging of electronics, chiller sizing, cable routing, coolant hose routing, and site layout.
This role requires a seasoned technical contributor proficient in applying technical principles, theories, and concepts in mechanical engineering, structural design, and analysis. You will be responsible for developing solutions to technical problems and issues that may be difficult or unclear while collaborating with other members of the design, structural, and thermal analysis teams.
This is not your average engineering position. You will work on a team of the most talented engineers in the region who push you to be better every day. This is a fast-paced program with unique technical challenges that will be a rewarding milestone in any engineering career.
If you are up for the challenge of joining this team, then apply today to be considered.
