Job Description
Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

Certifications: ARRT, BLS (ACLS preferred)
Must-Have: Experience in neuro interventional procedures
Description:
Primarily responsible for neuro interventional radiology with the ability to cover body interventional radiology as needed.
Schedule consists of Monday to Friday with four 10-hour shifts from 7 AM to 5:30 PM.
Participate in an on-call rotation with 1-2 shifts per week and every third or fourth weekend on-call.
Respond to emergency procedures and maintain a 30-minute call-back time.
Utilize sterile technique while preparing entry sites for procedures.
Monitor patient ECG and blood pressure, documenting all activity accurately and in a timely manner.
Act as a code team member, initiating resuscitative measures under physician supervision.
Ensure confidentiality of all patient and unit information.
Maintain specialization in neuroradiology and vascular interventional radiology procedures.
Participate in inventory management and performance improvement activities.
Instruct radiography students on patient positioning and technique selection.
Correctly document all procedures performed and ensure accurate billing.
Participate in educational opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
