The PPM team is looking for a R&D Project Manager. This position supports products in the Global Engineering, Foundation Division portfolio. Within the ecosystem of our PPM community, this role will be responsible for all aspects of project management for their assignments which include planning and estimation, coordination, implementation, execution, and completion of specific projects while ensuring consistency with the division’s overall strategy, commitments, and goals.
As a R&D Project Manager, you will:
- Support R&D Engineering teams in completing deadline-driven, team-based projects.
- Facilitate overall project objectives, goals and project requirements.
- Work with teams and stakeholders to define project scope and goals.
- Plan, prioritize, implement and adjust delivery schedule, scope, resourcing, and quality, based on individual project requirements per consultation with project stakeholders.
- Maintain project documentation such as project plans, schedules, issue lists, risk registers, and status reports.
- Coordinate, communicate, and facilitate activities between team members and stakeholders to keep projects on schedule and manage competing priorities.
- Coordinate risk mitigation activity and escalate as appropriate.
- Manage project scope and expectations.
- Identify and constructively negotiate conflicts or areas of high risk.
- Leverage fundamental project management and Agile methodologies, processes, project tools, and best practices to accelerate project delivery.
- Identifies project dependencies and stakeholder influences, working jointly with other organizations who share responsibility for delivery of final product.
- Acts as central point of contact and interfaces with interested parties across the Company, such as Legal, Marketing and Technical Support to ensure project success.
- Works with management to identify resource needs and coordinate technical resources for assigned projects, including both domestic and international resources.
- Ensure all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organization's secure software development goals.

Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, preferably in Computer Science or a related discipline
- 5 years of project management experience in software development
- Experience with R&D project management
- Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
