Roles & Responsibilities:- Contribute to projects in one or more of the following areas: quantum computing, quantum sensors, and/or quantum communications.
- Communicate results to government sponsors via presentations and reports.
- Help shape MITRE Quantum Information Science and Technology Strategy
- Coordinate to expand quantum technologies work program
Basic Qualifications:- Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or a 6 years of related experience with a Master's degree or 3 years of related experience with a PhD with relevant experience who can immediately contribute to the quantum work program; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
- Expertise in quantum information sciences and technologies.
- Demonstrated high-level research contributions
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills
- Ability to work on interdisciplinary topics and communicate well across scientific groups
- Must be U.S. citizen in order to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- Per the U.S. Government's eligibility requirements, you must be a U.S Citizen to be considered for a security clearance.
- This position requires a minimum of 50% hybrid on-site.
Preferred Qualifications: - Master's in Physics, Quantum, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
- Experience in one or more areas of quantum information such as quantum computing, quantum networking, and/or quantum sensing.
- Experience in working with government
