Starting Salary: $91,900 with $22,000 commission potential & $2,500 bonus potential
DESCRIPTION/JOB SUMMARY
Lead clinical technology and education initiatives for Quantum Rehab and Stealth Products. Translate clinical, customer, market, and competitive insights into sales strategies, product-development priorities, educational programs, and positioning that strengthen customer relationships, improve outcomes, and support business growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
• Partner with Inside Sales, Field Sales, Clinical Education, Marketing, Research & Development (R&D), Technical Service, and other departments to develop clinically relevant sales strategies, training, and resources
• Lead VA clinical strategy and sales program development, including education, field engagement, referral-source development, and initiatives that strengthen Quantum Rehab's position within the VA healthcare system
• Collaborate with R&D to guide the development and refinement of VA-specific power wheelchairs, seating, electronics, accessories, and clinical solutions based on customer needs, field feedback, competitive intelligence, and emerging opportunities
• Develop clinical sales strategies for alternative drive controls, including market assessment, clinician and customer education, product-application resources, competitive comparisons, and growth opportunities
• Lead clinical product comparisons across all segments of the Quantum Rehab and Stealth Products portfolios, translating findings into clear differentiation, sales tools, education, and strategic recommendations
• Collect, analyze, and communicate clinical, customer, field, and competitive feedback to support product strategy, continuous improvement, commercialization, and future development
• Maintain advanced clinical and technical knowledge of power bases, power positioning, seating, electronics, alternative drive controls, accessories, Stealth Products, and competitive technologies
• Translate product features, technical capabilities, development updates, and competitive differences into clinically relevant applications and messaging for diverse audiences.
• Expand the organization's clinical presence and resources across all channels to promote product, technology, and industry advancements
• Travel strategically to support Rehab Product Specialists, Regional Managers, VA initiatives, priority facilities, key accounts, providers, clinicians, product evaluations, and targeted growth opportunities
• Partner with Sales Leadership to strengthen underperforming territories, particularly within the assigned region, through clinical sales support and product, process, and technical training
• Develop and maintain clinical documentation, resource guides, product and clinical presentations, competitive comparison tools, videos, instructional materials, and product-launch resources
• Ensure educational and marketing materials are accurate, consistent, clinically relevant, and distributed promptly through the Learning Management System (LMS), SharePoint, digital platforms, and instructor-led training
• Collaborate with the Pride Learning Institute to develop accredited programs, annual educational activities, presentations, and presenter-readiness resources
• Support clinical evaluations, focus groups, research initiatives, field trials, product launches, and strategic customer programs
• Represent Pride Mobility and Quantum Rehab through professional organizations, industry publications, trade journals, presentations, and other thought-leadership opportunities
• Work closely with Inside and Field Sales team members to develop and create clinical sales-related content and materials to enhance the education and knowledge of the Quantum Rehab and Stealth Products team members along with members of the rehab community throughout the country
• Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management
• Complete the Annual CTPAT Security Training
• Develop goals and objectives, and measure outcomes to ensure goals are met
• Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment
• Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations

Must have:

• Strong clinical and technical expertise in complex rehabilitation technology, including mobility, seating, electronics, and alternative drive controls
• Strong knowledge of competitive products and the ability to develop objective, clinically relevant comparisons
• Excellent presentation and communication skills across in-person, PowerPoint, video, and digital formats
• Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent web navigation skills
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Working knowledge of third-party payor, VA, and self-funding procedures preferred
• Extensive product knowledge related to order configuration, seating, electronics, alternative drive controls, and accessories preferred
• Familiarity with complex rehab diagnoses, clinical evaluations, equipment selection, and required fittings preferred
• Knowledge of professional education accreditation bodies and compliance standards, including ANSI/IACET preferred
• Familiarity with presentation-submission standards, learning-objective development, literature reviews, and evidence-based education preferred
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
• At least 5 years of direct, in-person experience with the complex rehab technology evaluation process for end users in a wheelchair seating clinical environment
• At least 5 years of rehabilitation engineering experience in a wheelchair seating clinical environment
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
• At least 2 years of experience collaborating with Sales, R&D, Marketing, Education, Technical Service, or similar cross-functional teams preferred
• At least 2 years of experience supporting product development, product launches, VA clinical programs, competitive analysis, or alternative drive control applications preferred
• Previous successful employment with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferred
REQUIRED EDUCATION
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Rehabilitation Engineering, or a related engineering technology discipline
• ATP Certification or eligibility to sit for the ATP exam within 12 months of employment
PREFERRED EDUCATION
• Master's or Doctorate Degree in Physical or Occupational Therapy preferred
• Clinical training preferred
• SMS Certification preferred
