As a Quant Analytics Vice President within the Data & Analytics community, you will combine analytic skills with specific domain knowledge to make data actionable, allowing for ease of consumption. You will translate between analytic and non-analytic groups and facilitate holistic, cross-functional learning. Collaborate, learn, teach, and disseminate knowledge across the community.

You are an experienced Quantitative Analysts Vice President to lead our team of analysts specializing in Banking Payments. You will collaborate closely with Banking Payments Product Teams to deliver comprehensive insights through descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics. The Analytics Manager will be expected to provide analysis as well as provide oversight for results produced by their direct reports. You will have an analytical mindset, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for innovation for the banking payment products.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of analysts, providing both hands-on support and strategic oversight.
  • Define key metrics and source relevant data to support analytics initiatives.
  • Develop queries and create detailed reports to inform decision-making processes.
  • Champion data and analytics best practices across the Banking Payments organization.
  • Collaborate with Product Development teams to integrate analytics into the product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and beyond.
  • Partner with Product, Design, Business Stakeholders, and broader D&A organization to define and understand business requirements and objectives.
  • Create solutions to combine data from multiple sources for analysis and reporting.
  • Translate data into meaningful insights and present a compelling story to stakeholders to build consensus on optimizing payment experiences.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the analytics team remains at the forefront of innovation.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
  • Proven experience in quantitative analysis and team management.
  • Intermediate knowledge of SQL, Alteryx, Tableau, Python, and Snowflake.
  • Experience with Hadoop, Teradata, Oracle, and Cloud databases.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and innovatively.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • 8+ years of analytics experience.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
  • Functional industry experience in operations, marketing, credit/risk, technology, or finance.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Machine Learning and AI.
  • Preferred Adobe Analytics and Adobe Customer Journey Analytics tool knowledge.
