JOB DESCRIPTION/TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN:- Problem solving, corrective actions: lead/support investigations into quality issues (scrap/rework/customer complaints), develop and implement corrective and preventative actions, Use quality tools like 8D, fishbone, and FMEA
- Process monitoring/continuous improvement: use data and risk analysis to direct actions, collaborate with small business team (manufacturing engineers, operations) to improve process capability and reduce variation
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze quality data (e.g., defect rates, process capability, SPC charts), Prepare reports for management and cross-functional teams, Track KPIs such as First Pass Yield, internal and external PPM
- Training and Support: train operators on quality standards and inspection techniques, support cross-functional teams with quality-related expertise
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:- Internal Manufacturing Quality in Fuel Systems - focus on machining processes
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:- Years of experience: 5 years plus 3 years of internships
- Degree requirement: bachelor's in relevant field, master's 3 years plus internships
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:- Attention to detail

The pay range for this role is:
80,000 - 85,000 USD per year (Pontiac, IL )
