Full Job Description
We are looking for a Team Lead for our Quality Department. This position will be based in Hingham, MA.

You'll make a difference by:
  • Lead an assigned quality technician team, prioritize and assign tasks to team members and check progress of agreed transactions and workflows
  • Implements quality programs within the organization and monitors the effectiveness of these programs
  • Analyzes and improves process steps for the organization according to the quality strategy and respective local regulations considering agile, lean and digital methods
  • Acts as a point of contact for customer concerns related to production quality
  • Contributes to budget planning processes
  • Ensures real-time quality reporting for ad-hoc analysis, instant decision making, preventive action and continuous improvement
  • Contributes to product safety activities
  • Ensures qualification and competences of quality technicians
  • Manages Quality-related activities with involved internal and external parties

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, or a related field
  • 5+ years of quality experience within manufacturing environment
  • The ability to coach and audit Quality Operating System procedures and quality tools, including recurrence prevention
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and quality tools (8D, FMEA, PPAP, ISO 9001, audits)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to senior leadership and leading cross-functional teams
  • Excellent computer skills required; MS Office Package (Excel, Word, Power point, etc)
  • Ability to understand and communicate engineering print requirements

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced Quality Certifications: Certifications such as Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, ASQ Certified Quality Manager (CQM), or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
  • Advanced proficiency in SAP and quality management systems (QMS platforms), including experience leveraging data analytics tools for continuous improvement
  • Technical knowledge of automatic transfer switch equipment

The pay range for this position is $112K - $150K annually with a target incentive of 5% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
