Job Summary

We're looking for a Quality Systems, Audit & Compliance Leader to provide enterprise leadership across quality management systems, internal audit, and regulatory compliance for aerospace manufacturing and repair operations. This role will primarily support FAA Part 145 Repair Station facilities and provide working familiarity with FAA Part 21 PMA requirements where they intersect with site operations

The successful candidate will own Chromalloy's enterprise quality management system standards and internal audit program, strengthen site-level compliance capability, and partner across Quality, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and site leadership to reduce compliance risk and support business growth.

Location: Flexible US Chromalloy facility location; deployable to sites

Travel: Approximately 20-30% domestic and international travel

What You'll Be Doing
  • Own and continuously mature Chromalloy's enterprise quality management system standards and internal audit program, including cadence, scope, checklists, auditor qualification, and reporting standards.
  • Maintain compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025, AS9110, and NADCAP where applicable, and review quality manuals, repair station manuals, EASA supplements, and related documentation
  • Lead recurring internal audits, site compliance assessments, maturity evaluations, and gap analyses across Chromalloy facilities
  • Partner with site quality managers to build and mature site-specific compliance programs, procedures, and controls, while coaching teams toward sustainable ownership.
  • Ensure timely containment, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive action, and effectiveness verification for internal and external audit findings.
  • Serve as an internal subject matter expert for FAA regulations, FAA Part 145, EASA, CAAC, UK CAA, and other aviation authority requirements, with working knowledge of FAA Part 21 PMA requirements as needed.
  • Monitor regulatory changes, assess organizational impact, support audit readiness, and assist with regulatory audits, inspections, authority visits, and investigations as required.
  • Develop and deliver compliance training; mentor site quality leaders, internal auditors, and compliance specialists; and share lessons learned and leading practices across sites


What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or a related technical discipline
  • Minimum 10 years of aerospace quality, regulatory compliance, or quality systems experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role within manufacturing, MRO, or repair station environments.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting FAA Part 145 Repair Station operations and interacting directly with FAA, EASA, CAAC, UK CAA, or other aviation authorities.
  • Proven experience leading internal audits, quality management system audits, corrective action programs, and multi-site compliance program development.
  • Knowledge of FAA regulations (14 CFR), Safety Management Systems, AS9100, ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025, and risk-based compliance management
  • Ability to influence across multiple sites without direct authority, coach site teams, communicate with senior stakeholders, and make sound compliance decisions under pressure
  • Strong analytical, structured problem-solving, root cause analysis, and stakeholder management skills

Nice to Have
  • Master's degree in a related discipline
  • ASQ Certified Quality Auditor, Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence, or AS9100/ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent continuous improvement certification.
  • FAA A&P license or relevant repair station authorization experience.
  • NADCAP audit or special process accreditation experience.
  • Experience supporting multiple aerospace facilities, including international sites, and building a compliance program from the ground up.
  • Familiarity with FAA Part 21 PMA requirements and manufacturing environments.

This position may require work hours outside of the regularly scheduled hours to meet operational needs. This may include work during evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. Additional work hours are assigned based on business requirements. Non-exempt employees will be paid overtime in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

The salary range for this position reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels. Individual compensation within the range is determined by multiple factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, job related skills, internal equity, and market conditions. We evaluate each candidate individually to ensure fair and competitive pay decisions.
