Job Description/Responsibilities

Western Son Distillery is looking for a hands-on Quality Supervisor to lead food safety and quality systems in a fast-paced beverage manufacturing environment. This role is central to building a strong culture of quality, ensuring regulatory compliance, and partnering with operations to continuously improve processes. You'll have a direct impact on product integrity, customer satisfaction, and overall operational performance while developing a high-performing quality team.
What You'll Do
  • Lead quality and food safety programs to ensure compliance with FDA, TTB, and third-party standards
  • Supervise, coach, and develop quality team members through training and performance management
  • Manage HACCP plans, audits, and inspections; serve as primary contact for internal and external audits
  • Partner with operations to investigate quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Track and improve quality KPIs, including complaints, defects, and product holds.


Qualifications/Requirements

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3+ years of quality or food safety experience in a food and/or beverage manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of food safety systems, regulatory compliance, and quality standards
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization

Preferred:
  • Food safety certification or experience with global food safety standards (HACCP, ISO, etc.)
  • Prior supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds without assistance
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying conditions and extended periods of standing or walking
  • Ability to work an 8-hour shift and overtime as needed

The annual salary range for this role is $77,000 to $96,000 yearly. Final compensation will be based on relevant experience, qualifications, geographic location, and internal pay equity considerations.
