We are hiring for a Quality Program Manager position at Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center in Kodiak, AK!

Position is full time, 1.0 FTE, Day shift, Monday-Friday, core business hours, 40 hours per week; with some flexibility for occasional afterhours support per business needs.

Under the direction of the Regional Director of Quality Regulatory Services, the Quality Regulatory Services Manager performs a variety of duties designed to maintain relationships, exchange information, and promote operations and continuous improvement of facilities within the Alaska Region. This position is based in Kodiak, some remote work is possible, travel within the region or for system functions may be required.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree In healthcare related field, nursing preferred or RN License with 5 years of acute care and/or quality improvement experience.
  • Upon hire: Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Healthcare Accreditation Certified Professional (HACP), or Joint Commission Certified Professional (CJCP), or obtained within 12 months of hire.
  • Within 2 years of hire Certified Healthcare Quality Professional.
  • 2 years Acute Care Clinical experience.
  • Designing, implementing, and leading clinical outcome improvement programs.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree In health care related field.
  • Previous experience with Joint Commission survey coordination at facility level.
