Position Summary:

The Quality Manager ensures the company's products, services, and processes meet both strict internal standards and external regulatory requirements. They oversee quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC), lead inspections, manage compliance audits, and drive continuous operational improvement to maximize customer satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Quality Management Systems (QMS): Designs, implements, and manages ISO 9001.
  • Testing & Inspection: Develops protocols for inspecting raw materials, in-progress goods, and final products to prevent defects.
  • Auditing: Prepares for and leads internal and external audits, including annual regulatory and certification checks.
  • Problem Solving: Leads root-cause analyses, executes Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) programs, and handles customer complaints or product recalls.
  • Team Leadership: Manages quality team, provides training, and sets clear performance metrics such as defect reduction and audit pass rates

Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to prioritize and organize targeted and strategic projects or assignments.
  • Strong presentation skills, both in person and virtually.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and effective communicator.
  • Open-minded and committed to continuous improvement.

Education and Experience:
  • 2+ years' experience in quality leadership role.
  • Six Sigma Green/Black belt a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or business administration.
  • Experience in a Quality Management System, ISO AS9100 preferred.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Supervises the Quality department operation and staff.

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Office and manufacturing environments.
  • Minimal travel to other RG Group sites and customer facilities as needed.
