Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or scientific discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five years' experience in aerospace Quality systems and management, preferably in investment casting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to interact with all organization levels.
• High objectivity and integrity when evaluating personnel and issues.
• Proficient in NDT, Dimensioning, Physical Testing, and Statistical Quality Control.
• Skilled in aerospace quality management systems (AS9100, ISO 9001).
• Solid understanding of aerospace and government specifications and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct projects related to unique quality issues affecting major programs and products.
• Coordinate Quality Control Program in line with company policies and customer requirements.
• Analyze quality data and recommend process or standards modifications based on research.
• Provide technical guidance to Sales and Engineering on group projects and raw material purchasing.
• Perform and direct experiments and statistical studies on quality matters.
• Develop status and progress reports to assure project integration is on track.
• Update Quality Control Manual procedures as required.
• Interface with customers and government regarding quality performance and specifications.
• Suggest improvements for manufacturing operations to resolve quality problems.
• Assess and resolve specification discrepancies in collaboration with Sales and customers.
