Job Description

SUMMARY:
  • Drive quality projects and implement improvements to manufacturing processes.
  • Act as the primary liaison with customers, regulatory bodies, and government agencies for audits and quality issues.
  • Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Manual, internal work instructions, and procedures; audit and approve subcontractors.
  • Review job status, customer specifications, and recommend technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with Production Control, Engineering, and customers on alloy, casting design, and tooling topics.
  • Manage staff responsible for quality planning, raw material release, and final product certification.
  • Oversee Level III NDT Examiner for personnel qualification, special process certifications, and audits.
  • Serve as Management Representative for ISO-9001 & AS9100 compliance.
  • Stay current with industry advancements through technical literature review.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and performance oversight to quality teams while maintaining discipline and professionalism.

Secondary Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with all safety requirements and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
  • Participate in training, health evaluations, and safety programs.
  • Wear required PPE in designated areas and report any work-related injuries immediately.
  • Perform physical functions of the role, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Work overtime as needed and meet attendance standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in science or engineering (preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in technical or operations roles, ideally in casting and aerospace manufacturing.
