Full Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Quality Manager to oversee our Quality Management System (QMS) and lead our quality team. The Quality Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, customer requirements, and regulatory standards, while driving continuous improvement across processes, products, and culture.

This position requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, a hands-on approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, and Leadership to achieve company goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and develop Quality Engineers, Technicians, and Inspectors to ensure accurate inspection and testing of products and processes.
  • Manage day-to-day quality operations including inspection records, testing activities, and calibration of measurement tools and equipment.
  • Monitor compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and other relevant customer and industry standards.
  • Oversee Material Review Board (MRB) activities, evaluate nonconforming materials, and drive resolution through corrective and preventive actions.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Lead root cause analysis for internal defects, supplier issues, and customer concerns; implement sustainable corrective actions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to improve processes and reduce quality risks.
  • Track and report on quality performance metrics and trends, escalating critical findings to the Quality Director.
  • Provide training and coaching to ensure technical competence and adherence to quality requirements.
  • Support supplier quality management initiatives as assigned, including supplier corrective actions and improvement activities.
  • Ensure quality documentation is maintained accurately and is complete for all customer shipments.

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality, or related technical field; ASQ certifications (CQE, CQA, etc.) preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in manufacturing quality, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Strong working knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, and aerospace or regulated industry standards.
  • Proficient in quality tools and methodologies including SPC, FMEA, 8D, root cause analysis, and DMAIC.
  • Experience leading audits, managing QMS documentation, and supporting supplier quality programs.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Effective leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and build accountability in teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and QA software tools.
