Quality Manager (Monday - Thurs 9 hours, 4 hours Friday)

What You'll Do

As Quality Manager, you will lead and continuously improve ATACO's Quality Management System while ensuring our products meet customer expectations and ISO 9001:2015 standards.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, maintain, execute, and improve the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 requirements and customer quality standards.
  • Supervise, coach, mentor, and develop the quality team while assigning and directing daily work.
  • Develop and maintain quality procedures, inspection methods, testing procedures, and product specifications.
  • Conduct internal and customer quality audits and lead corrective and preventive actions.
  • Manage customer complaints, root cause investigations, corrective actions, and timely customer communication.
  • Perform supplier quality audits and resolve supplier quality issues.
  • Partner with customers, suppliers, engineering, production, and other departments to improve product quality.
  • Manage quality-related ERP system modules and leverage data to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze product defects and implement process improvements using quality tools and metrics.
  • Lead improvement projects utilizing statistical and structured problem-solving methodologies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Embody ATACO's Amazing Fundamentals in daily leadership and decision-making.

Qualifications

Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of quality management or quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience supervising or leading employees.

Preferred Knowledge & Skills
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality systems.
  • Working knowledge of:
    • ISO 9001:2015
    • APQP
    • PFMEA/FMEA
    • Control Plans
    • Statistical Process Control (SPC)
    • Design of Experiments (DOE)
    • Process Validation
  • Experience using structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
