Responsibilities

  • Oversee departmental functions such as hiring, scheduling, payroll, and performance management, while enhancing staff satisfaction.

Facility: Ascension St. Vincent's St. Johns Hospital

Department: Total Quality Management

Schedule: Days | Full-time | Monday - Friday | 8am - 5pm

How you'll make an impact in this role

  • Serve as the primary leader for all accreditation activities-orchestrating survey prep, on-site leadership, and post-survey action plans to ensure continuous organizational compliance.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive framework to meet external quality and safety standards, overseeing data management, outcomes reporting, and continuous process improvements.
  • Aggregate and analyze key quality metrics to present actionable reports to leadership and conduct departmental audits that align with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead cross-system communication to share regulatory updates, accreditation information, and quality outcomes, fostering a culture of shared best practices.
  • Oversee departmental operations-including hiring, scheduling, payroll, and performance management-while cultivating high staff satisfaction and professional growth.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Quality Professional preferred.
  • Risk Management preferred.


Education:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred, bringing a solid clinical foundation to our quality and safety operations.
  • Proven Quality & Leadership Expertise with 3+ years of progressive healthcare experience. Preferred background in nursing management, performance improvement, clinical quality, or regulatory readiness.
