Quality ManagerFreedom Finishing LLC - Benton Harbor, MIAs Quality Manager, you'll serve as our ISO 9001 Management Representative, owning the quality program that keeps our products defect-free and our customers satisfied. You'll have real authority - including the power to stop production or shipments when quality is on the line.
What You'll Do- Manage and maintain our ISO 9001:2015 quality system, including documentation, internal audits, and continuous improvement
- Coordinate with Production and Plant Management to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence
- Oversee inspection, testing, calibration, and containment of nonconforming product
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions (including 8D processes) for customer complaints
- Build relationships with customers and vendors to maintain quality standards on both ends of the supply chain
- Prepare PPAP documentation and support new product launches
- Ensure quality concerns are addressed quickly and clearly across the organization
What You Bring- Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of related experience (or an equivalent combination)
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards; Internal Auditor certification
- Familiarity with root cause analysis and the 8D problem-solving process
- Knowledge of industrial paint processes is a big plus
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Comfort with data, math, and technical documentation
- Ability to work in a plant environment, including occasional exposure to fumes, chemicals, and varying temperatures, and to lift up to 55 lbs
