Full Job Description
Tektronix Component Solutions is looking for a talented individual to lead the Quality Management System (QMS) function. The Quality Management Systems Manager is responsible for leading the QMS team and working cross-functionally with the Quality organization. The QMS Manager will report to the Tektronix Component Solutions Director of Quality & Reliability. You will become an extended member of the Management Team where you will support execution of top-level priorities and policy deployment and provide broad-based leadership.

In this role, you will be responsible for multiple functions within the Quality team, including Quality Management Systems, Internal Audit Programs, Document and Change Control, Management Review Processes, and Regulatory/Standards Compliance. Responsibilities and expectations include, but are not limited to:
  • Set expectations and build organizational capability to improve value for customers and stakeholders and create sustained value for Ralliant and Tektronix.
  • Communicate and advocate a shared vision and strategy that align with the larger organization, Tektronix, and Ralliant strategies.

  • Create organizational capability to stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory requirements, benchmark best-in-class quality systems both inside and outside Ralliant and provide reciprocal benchmarking and support to colleagues.


Specific Functional Responsibilities:

Lead a team of Quality Management System professionals in their fulfillment of work supporting customers, operations, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives. Specific responsibilities include:
  • Own and maintain the effectiveness of the Tektronix Component Solutions Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with applicable standards, customer requirements, and regulatory expectations, including ISO 9001, AS9100, and other relevant quality system standards.
  • Lead internal audit, external audit, and certification activities, including audit planning, execution, corrective actions, and continuous improvement of audit processes.
  • Manage document control, records management, and quality system governance processes to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance across the organization.
  • Drive Management Review processes, quality metrics reporting, and quality system performance monitoring to ensure alignment with business objectives and customer expectations.
  • Lead Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes, containment, root-cause investigations, and systemic problem-solving efforts to improve organizational effectiveness and eliminate recurring issues.
  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Customer Quality, and Regulatory functions to deploy quality standards and ensure process compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Coach and mentor staff and cross-functional teams on quality system requirements, risk-based thinking, process management, continuous improvement, and quality best practices.
  • Facilitate quality planning activities, including process mapping, risk assessments, quality objective deployment, and monitoring of quality performance indicators.
  • Support customer and regulatory audits, customer quality requirements, compliance matrices, corrective action requests, change management activities, and customer scorecard initiatives.
  • Support Tektronix Component Solutions strategy to obtain and sustain DLA certification by leading cross-functional readiness activities, driving compliance to applicable quality system requirements, coordinating audits, and ensuring successful certification and ongoing compliance.
  • Drive digital transformation and continuous improvement of QMS processes through automation, standardization, data analytics, and best-practice deployment.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Broad experience across Global Manufacturing and Quality, including quality management systems, manufacturing, process engineering, supplier quality, customer quality, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, or comparable quality management system standards and associated auditing practices.
  • Ability to articulate a vision for organizational excellence and lead transformative quality system initiatives.
  • Experience leading quality system audits, management reviews, corrective action programs, and compliance initiatives.
  • Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and driving systemic problem-solving using structured methodologies.
  • Strong leadership skills, including demonstrated abilities in motivation, coaching, employee development, and conflict resolution.
  • Excellent communication skills with demonstrated success in change management and organizational alignment.
  • Proactive working style with the ability to adapt to changing business and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project.
  • Proficient in data analysis, quality metrics, and reporting tools such as Minitab, JMP, Power BI, or Excel to analyze quality system performance and identify improvement opportunities.


Desired:
  • 5+ years of progressive Quality Management System leadership experience.
  • Lead Auditor certification for ISO 9001, AS9100, or equivalent quality management standards.
  • Experience managing external certification, regulatory, or customer audit programs.
  • ASQ Certified Quality Manager (CMQ/OE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE).
  • Experience implementing enterprise-wide quality system improvements and digital quality transformation initiatives.

Pay Range
The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 104300.00-193700.00
