ABOUT THE JOB:We are seeking a
Quality Technician to join our growing team in
Lexington, MA. In this role you will play a key part in ensuring that our manufacturing processes and products meet high-quality standards. Your responsibilities will include conducting inspections, analyzing data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement effective quality assurance protocols.
WHAT YOU'LL DO- Perform incoming inspection, in-process inspection and end of line inspection. Ensure Inspection areas follow processes and best practices associated with inspection work instructions, procedures, and tools.
- Collaborate with Quality Engineering in the creation of inspection plans for incoming materials, parts, and assemblies from suppliers and monitor their compliance
- Execute on the equipment calibration and material shelf-life verification programs
- Support Material review board processes
- Support internal and external audits on processes and procedures.
- Review and propose continuous improvement projects for productivity gains, quality improvements, and benefits to Anduril's quality policy.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS- Technical or Associates degree in related quality/mechanical/aerospace engineering field
- 3+ years of Quality and/or Manufacturing experience within the Aerospace industry
- Experience with Calibrated equipment (calipers, micrometers, multimeters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, CMM etc.)
- Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings (wire diagrams, work instructions, CAD)
- Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) knowledge, understanding dimension and tolerancing
- Experience with inspection of machined parts and mechanical assemblies
- Experience with inspection of Electrical and Electronic Components (Power Supplies, PCBs, wire-harnesses)
- Experience in a facility with AS9100, ISO9001, IATF 16949 or similar QMS standard.
- Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a fast paced, challenging work environment.
- Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) with engineering and production.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs unassisted
- Understanding of FAIR, COC, production metrics
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S Secret clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field of study
- IPC-A-610 or IPC-A-620 Certification
- Experience with Manufacturing processes and their related systems (Jira, MES, ERP, Teamcenter, CAD)
- Experience with auditing processes and procedures in a manufacturing environment
- Detail oriented self starter with minimal oversight - strong ability to communicate with different cross functional teams.
US Salary Range
$39.90-$54.80 USD
