Quality Engineering Manager (Accenture LLP; Beaverton, OR): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Quality Engineering Manager in Beaverton, OR, and the job duties are as follows:
- Design and maintain master test plan that encompasses test strategy for functional and end-to-end testing, test environments, and automation approach.
- Define test models (plans, data, scripts, and expected results) and entry/exit criteria.
- Drive quality testing solutions by planning and constructing test scripts through use of quality processes and methodologies for Accenture or its clients.
- Define, track, and publish test metrics, including code coverage, quality, and performance to the team and client.
- Execute testing efforts by delivering application and component releases.
- Coordinate and execute regression testing, test automation, performance testing, functionality, and user acceptance testing.
- Determine and meet time estimates and schedules for testing efforts.
- Develop, update, and maintain quality testing standards and procedures.
- Lead others on the testing team and manage process questions and issues.
- Optimize process and methods to deliver quality work.
- Allocate test resources and guide on priorities to application tests in a multi-test environment and different testing phases.
- Act independently to determine methods and procedures for new assignments.
- Make decisions that impact the team through regular consultation with senior management and adhere to strategic direction provided.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT consulting industry.
Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:
- Utilizing Agile and Waterfall software development methodologies to deliver IT projects;
- Utilizing Quality Center and Jira to manage testing, defects, and user stories;
- Utilizing performance and API testing tools, including Micro focus load runner, performance center, Blaze Meter, Apache JMeter, Visual Studio Load Test, SOAP UI, and POSTMAN;
- Building performance solutions for web applications, windows/web/WCF services, SQL, using Visual studio load test, JUnit, MSTest, C#, Microsoft SQL server and Entity framework technologies;
- Version control and source control systems, including Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Git;
- Project management, including creating and managing project work plans, identifying and tracking risks and issues, managing a team and end-to-end project delivery, and status reporting;
- Conducting defect triage meetings with development and business teams;
- Overseeing performance testing planning, including stress and load testing using JMeter; and
- Creating detailed quality assurance reporting on test management, execution, and defects, for program governance meetings.
Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
