Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Supply Chain Quality Manager to join our procurement department based in Grand Prairie, TX (Dallas).

Meet the Team:

The Procurement team's mission is to acquire indirect goods and services for Airbus commercial aircraft and helicopters, playing a major role in generating value and supplying to the overall competitiveness of the company. Our team members ensure on-time delivery and on-quality of equipment and systems, drawing on their expertise in Industrial, Operations & Quality Management, and strong relationship building skills to problem-solve and proactively mitigate supply chain issues.

Your Challenges:
  • You will be the focal point towards the suppliers for operational activities and contract management, and an ambassador of the supplier toward internal functions
  • You need to be able to manage the supply chain & quality aspects of the contract, being responsible for on-time, on-quality (and on-cost, when applicable) performance
  • Assessing the supplier capacity, capability, and performance; and contributing to the suppliers' development is a key element
  • We also need someone who has a comprehensive understanding of working with customer (internal/external) demands being manifested in various forms of communication (Service Letter Agreement, meetings, conference call, e-mails) and utilizing these through the CI process


Your Boarding Pass:
  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Aviation, or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Master Degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field, preferred
  • Minimum five (5) years of technical experience in the field of Quality, Supply Chain or Engineering
  • Experience in Root Cause Analysis E.g. Practical Problem Solving or similar 8D type tools
  • AS9100 Auditor or equivalent training
  • Team working mindset
