Onsite - Buffalo, NY
Moog is looking for a Quality Engineer to plan and execute cost-effective quality processes to assure that we will meet or exceed contractual quality requirements and provide the required level of protection to Moog and its Customers. In this role, you will have a measurable impact on our business performance by promoting the highest standards of quality. Given the complexity of the hardware we produce, we're looking for someone who understands its critical nature. You will report to a Program QE Manager and work onsite in East Aurora, NY (Buffalo area).

As a Quality Engineer, you will:
  • Most importantly, you'll be relied upon to have integrity, and as someone who won't be afraid to stand up and say "STOP - we have a problem we that need to address right away."   • Responsible for quality success on program teams in meeting contractual requirements and driving crucial quality related decisions for our customers.
  • Collaborate with global partners to gather insights, resolve challenges, meet program requirements, and maintain consistent, transparent communication with customers.
  • Improve production by conducting QE studies, recommending design changes, and providing quality support to manufacturing personnel.
  • Facilitate cross functional teams through problem solving activities. These activities will include failure analysis, root cause and corrective action analysis, risk mitigation, material review, customer & governmental interface, audit support configuration control, and traceability.
  • Develop Quality plans for receiving inspection, manufacturing operations, assembly & test processes, and final inspection.
  • Work directly with customers and suppliers to identify root cause and corrective actions on complex issues.
  • Reduce inspection costs and prevent failure-related expenses through statistical analysis and problem-solving.

Salary Range Transparency:
Buffalo, NY $80,000.00-$100,000.00 Annually
