Quality Engineer Job Posting Location: Dallas, TX Posting Start Date: 8/21/26 Req Id: 9773 Required Travel: 0 - 10% Remote, Onsite or Hybrid?: Onsite Position Description The Quality Engineer - Plant Operations will play a key role in ensuring the manufacturing quality of chillers for data centers by monitoring, analyzing, and improving production processes. This is an on-the-floor role that requires hands-on involvement in daily plant operations, working closely with production teams to resolve quality issues, implement process improvements, and maintain compliance with industry standards. The Quality Engineer will use problem-solving methodologies to drive continuous improvement, reduce defects, and enhance overall product reliability. Key Responsibilities 3 Monitor and evaluate production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications. 3 Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions (RCCA) for non-conformances and customer complaints. 3 Work closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to improve product quality and process efficiency. 3 Develop and implement quality control plans, inspection procedures, and testing protocols. 3 Perform audits of manufacturing processes to identify and resolve potential quality risks. 3 Support the introduction of new products by validating quality requirements and ensuring compliance with industry standards. 3 Train production personnel on quality best practices, including effect prevention and problem-solving techniques. 3 Use statistical analysis and data-driven methodologies (such as Six-Sigma, SPC) to improve manufacturing quality. 3 Maintain accurate records and reports related to quality metrics, defects, and corrective actions. 3 Ensure compliance with ISO, ASHRAE, and other relevant industry and regulatory standards. Required Education & Qualifications 3 1+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment, preferably in HVAC, refrigeration, or industrial equipment production or strong co-op/internship experience in manufacturing. 3 Strong problem-solving skills and experience with tools such as 8D, FMEA, RCCA, and Six Sigma methodologies. 3 Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and experience with ISO 9001 compliance. 3 Familiarity with measurement tools, GD&T, and blueprint interpretation. 3 Hands-on experience with manufacturing processes such as welding, brazing, assembly, and testing. 3 Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. 3 Proficiency in data analysis and statistical software (i.e. Minitab, Excel, or similar). 3 Ability to thrive in fast-paced, on-the-floor manufacturing environment.
