Position Description: Join a Quality Engineering practice supporting mobile testing efforts for a high profile client program. This role offers hands on ownership of mobile test strategy, automation, and quality practices in a fast paced, collaborative Agile environment.
Your future duties and responsibilities: . Develop mobile test strategies, test plans, and manual and automated test cases.
. Map test cases to requirements to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
. Build and maintain mobile UI test automation using Appium for iOS and Android.
. Validate mobile application functionality across multiple devices, operating systems, and versions.
. Test and validate RESTful APIs using Postman and database integrity using SQL.
. Participate in Agile ceremonies, including standups and sprint planning, to identify and communicate quality risks early.
. Log, triage, track, and manage defects through resolution.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role: . 3-8+ years of experience in software QA, testing, or engineering, including hands on mobile testing.
. Strong experience with mobile test automation using Appium.
. Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and/or Python, along with SQL and Unix/Linux scripting.
. Experience with mobile device farms and emulators, such as BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or similar platforms.
. Familiarity with CI/CD tools and technologies, including Jenkins, Git, and Docker.
. Experience working in Agile environments.
. Experience within a regulated industry, such as financial services or healthcare, preferred.
This role can be performed anywhere within the US. EST time zone preferred.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $79,600.00 $176,300.00.
