Your ResponsibilitiesAs a
Quality Engineer located in
Waterloo, IA you will:
- Provide production support for containment, inspections, quality procedures, and tools to monitor critical processes
- Support operations teams with quality planning, control, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure products meet customer expectations
- Report defined quality metrics to operations teams and Leadership.
VISA Sponsorship is NOT available for this positionWhat Skills You Need• 1 or more years of related experience in quality or manufacturing engineering in a manufacturing environment
• Experience using standard quality management principles and tools (such as FMEA, SPC, Root Cause, Control Plans, Gauge RR, MSA and Capability Studies)
• Experience with gear or shaft manufacturing standards, processes, and controls
• Experience reading and interpreting complex part drawings, including functional knowledge of GD&T principles and terminology
• Experience using advanced data gathering and analysis techniques, including statistical analysis
• Experience in driving a closed loop corrective action process, including rigorous root cause analysis
What Makes You Stand Out• Experience in project management; including effectively facilitating, leading, and managing cross functional teams
• Experience with Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau, or Minitab software
• ASQ certifications such as CQE, CSSGB, and/or CSSBB
EducationIdeally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- 4 year degree in Manufacturing Technology or Engineering or equivalent work experience.
