Job Description

As a Quality Engineer III here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality products by applying your expertise in quality engineering principles and practices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements, conduct audits, and implement corrective actions that enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction.

In this role, you will impact product quality and process efficiency by identifying quality issues, leading root cause analysis, and driving continuous improvement initiatives that align with Honeywell's commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead quality assurance activities including audits, inspections, and process validations to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to identify and resolve quality issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement quality control plans and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product reliability and reduce defects


Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
  • Minimum of 6 years' experience in quality engineering within manufacturing or related industries
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions
  • Proficiency in quality tools such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and audit methodologies
  • Experience with quality standards such as ISO 9001 or AS9100 and familiarity with Lean Six Sigma principles


WE VALUE
  • Advanced degree in Engineering or related technical field
  • Experience with building automation or related technology industries
  • Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting
  • Knowledge of electronic manufacturing processes and test systems

COMPENSATION

The annual base salary range for this position is $82,400 - $103,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
