Position Overview:

As part of the talented Quality Engineering team, you will ensure product and process quality throughout the product lifecycle, from new product introduction through fullrate production. This role partners crossfunctionally with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Suppliers to implement robust quality systems, lead problemsolving activities, analyze data, and drive continuous improvement. Quality Engineer plays a critical role in protecting the customer, supporting compliance, and advancing Brunswicks commitment to excellence.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management System (QMS) processes aligned to ISO 9001 standards, including document control and internal audits
  • Lead structured problemsolving initiatives using RCA, 8D, Six Sigma, and DMAIC methodologies
  • Analyze manufacturing and quality data using SPC, MSA, capability studies, and statistical tools to support datadriven decisions
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, control plans, and risk management
  • Partner with manufacturing teams to strengthen shopfloor disciplines, errorproofing, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Lead and participate in crossfunctional teams, providing technical direction, training, and mentorship
  • Communicate quality performance, risks, and improvement actions clearly to stakeholders at all levels

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related technical field
  • 4-6 years of previous experience
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001, core quality tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA), and structured problem solving
  • Ability to analyze data and apply statistical methods to realworld manufacturing processes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certification such as ASQ CQE, Six Sigma Green or Black Belt, or ISO 9001 Auditor
  • Experience supporting NPI programs in a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in crossfunctional or technical team settings

Working Conditions:

  • Manufacturing and office environments with regular time spent on the production floor
  • Able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Occasional travel to customers and suppliers or other Brunswick facilities may be required.

The anticipated pay range for this position is $86,500-$139,300, annually. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.

At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidates qualifications and the business context.
