JOB DESCRIPTION:This position is 100% onsite. It is not open for relocation or sponsorship. Candidate must be local to the MN area. Primary Responsibilities:- Lead and/or support project teams on the successful commercialization and start-up of new fabrication equipment and processes.
- Interface with design, product engineering, supply chain, and other business partners on the design for manufacturability, process capability of new product or extensions.
- Provide recommendations regarding the viability of developed design solutions that relate to new or current processes.
- Facilitate cross-functional team meetings, kaizens, and Process System Design events.
- Ensure built in quality by using DMAIC tools: Process mapping, process capability, C&E Matrix, fishbone diagram, FMEA, MSA, DOE, Control Plans.
- Develop specifications to procure production equipment and/or complete production lines.
- Partner with the Safety Teams to ensure all new or modified processes meet or exceed corporate safety requirements.
- Create training tools, documents and standard operating procedures for production processes ensuring consistent manufacturability.
- Introduce new perspectives on existing solutions to continuously improve production and material flow processes.
- Provide operational technical support for existing applications and processes
QUALIFICATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:- BS in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or equivalent engineering experience
- 3-5+ years of engineering experience preferred with mechanical aptitude
- Demonstrate an understanding and application of methodologies associated with project planning and experience working with collaborative cross-functional teams
- Demonstrate knowledge of lean manufacturing principals
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Communicate effectively through written, verbal, listening, and presentation skills
- Knowledge and experience with quality systems, statistical process control, process capability and lean manufacturing tools
- Knowledge of 2D & 3D solid modeling preferred (AutoCad/Inventor)

PAY RANGE:$90,039.00 - $139,561.00

PROFIT SHARING: In 2026 Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $3,600 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit Sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
