PDS Tech Commercial is hiring a Quality Engineer I to support an global energy industry-leading organization at the forefront of advanced manufacturing and engineering innovation. What You'll Do

As a Quality Engineer, you will serve as a key contributor in driving qualification and quality initiatives from concept through completion.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead qualification projects for new parts, suppliers, equipment, and special manufacturing processes from inception to closure.
• Develop and implement qualification standards aligned with engineering and supply chain requirements.
• Manage project timelines, scope, installation activities, and qualification milestones for manufacturing equipment.
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Identify opportunities to improve qualification processes, increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality outcomes.
• Support manufacturing operations by providing technical expertise and problem resolution.
• Evaluate advanced manufacturing processes including coatings, brazing, and other special processes.
• Promote a culture of quality, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Drive urgency and execution while maintaining high standards of product quality and customer satisfaction.
• Support regional and, when needed, global quality and manufacturing initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• Experience in manufacturing, quality engineering, supplier quality, or related engineering disciplines.
• Experience managing technical projects, qualifications, or process improvement initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• 6+ years of turbine engineering and/or manufacturing experience.
• Program or project management experience.
• Experience qualifying special manufacturing processes such as coatings, brazing, welding, or similar processes.
• Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience supporting matrixed or global organizations.
• Familiarity with advanced manufacturing technologies and processes.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to build trust and influence across multiple functions.
• Customer-focused mindset with a strong commitment to quality and operational excellence.

Pay Details: $47.34 per hour
