Responsibilities
  • Maintain the Environmental Monitoring System at the Distribution Center.
  • Review, approve, scan, and maintain batch records and line clearance documentation for production processes.
  • Track, trend, analyze, and report quality metrics and nonconformances, providing recommendations to address adverse trends.
  • Initiate and manage Material Nonconformance Reports (NCMR) and Quality Notifications (QN), supporting root cause investigations and corrective actions. [
  • Support Quality Notification (QN), Material Review Board (MRB), and CAPA activities to address product nonconformances.
  • Manage nonconforming inventory, including material quarantine activities, MRB inventory tracking, and SAP transactions.
  • Provide validation support for facilities, equipment, and shipping studies.
  • Initiate and support change control activities, including Change Requests and Change Events.
  • Assist in identifying, investigating, and documenting root causes and corrective actions.
  • Partner with Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to drive process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor process controls, inspection activities, waste and reject rates, environmental controls, and customer complaint trends to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Perform visual inspection of products, components, and kits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Review manufacturing documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance prior to product release.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to cross-functional teams while contributing to quality and compliance initiatives.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related scientific discipline preferred.
  • Associate's degree or college-level science coursework considered beneficial.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in distribution, warehousing, quality, manufacturing, or a combination of education and related experience.
  • Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and quality systems.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and ISO 14971 standards.
  • Experience supporting root cause investigations and corrective/preventive actions.
  • Proficiency with Minitab or other statistical software, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
  • Role is approximately 70% computer-based work, requiring extended periods of sitting and/or standing.
  • Remaining time is spent standing, walking, and supporting operational activities.
  • Ability to travel between facilities located approximately 30 miles apart, as business needs require.
  • This position is 100% onsite and requires regular interaction with quality, operations, and supply chain teams.
