Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or related field; 5+ years of experience with a bachelor's or 3+ years with a master's.
• Strong understanding of inspection methods with robust computer skills.
• Analytical skills for developing innovative solutions to quality issues.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to prepare statistical reports and technical documents.
• Leadership skills to guide team members and manage project timelines and budgets.
• Willingness to work extended hours as necessary.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures for composite assemblies.
• Conduct first article inspections, in-process checks, and final inspections for compliance.
• Investigate non-conformances and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure manufacturing standards are met for composite materials.
• Support audits for Nadcap, AS9100, or ISO 9001 compliance as required.
• Analyze quality metrics to identify process improvement opportunities.
• Travel to suppliers for inspections as part of quality assurance efforts.
