You will join Amaris Consulting as a Quality Engineer within a regulated manufacturing and quality environment. In this role, you will contribute to product conformity, inspection processes, measurement system reliability, and continuous improvement activities in line with applicable quality standards.
Your Missions
  • Perform incoming and first article inspections to verify product conformity with specifications and quality requirements.
  • Use precision measurement equipment, including calipers, micrometers, height gages, optical comparators, Keyence systems, and other inspection tools for dimensional and visual inspections.
  • Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing requirements to define appropriate inspection methods and acceptance criteria.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve inspection plans, sampling plans, inspection procedures, and product acceptance standards.
  • Plan, execute, analyze, and document Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility studies and other Measurement System Analysis activities.
  • Evaluate measurement system performance and implement improvements to reduce measurement variation and strengthen inspection effectiveness.
  • Apply quality engineering principles to support compliance with FDA Quality System Regulations, ISO 13485 requirements, and other applicable standards.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced, regulated manufacturing environment.
Your Profile
  • Experience in quality engineering, inspection, or regulated manufacturing environments, ideally with at least two years in a related role.
  • Experience with Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility studies, Measurement System Analysis, statistical data analysis, dimensional inspections, and precision measurement equipment.
  • Working knowledge of Minitab or equivalent statistical software, Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, optical comparators, and Keyence systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • English fluent.
  • Knowledge of engineering drawings, technical specifications, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, inspection methodologies, sampling plans, quality engineering principles, FDA Quality System Regulations, ISO 13485 requirements, and applicable quality standards.
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer certification is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills are demonstrated in technical and regulated environments.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills support effective technical information sharing.
  • Autonomy, collaboration, and adaptability are demonstrated in fast-paced manufacturing contexts.
