RESPONSIBILITIES: The Quality Data Specialist transforms complex clinical and operational data into meaningful insights that empower physicians, leaders, and care teams to make informed decisions and drive measurable improvements.
As a trusted analytics partner, you will:
- Collect, validate, analyze, and interpret clinical, quality, operational, and financial data from multiple internal and external sources.
- Develop standard, ad hoc, and complex reports that provide actionable insights for physicians, operational leaders, and executive leadership.
- Create compelling dashboards, scorecards, visualizations, and presentations that communicate key quality, safety, and performance metrics.
- Support value-based care initiatives, quality improvement, patient safety, infection prevention, clinical integration, and performance improvement programs.
- Partner with physician leaders, administrators, clinical teams, Informatics & Technology, and other stakeholders to understand reporting needs and develop meaningful analytics solutions.
- Assist with the development, monitoring, and evaluation of quality metrics, executive scorecards, and performance indicators.
- Prepare and submit required reports to external organizations and quality collaboratives while ensuring compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements.
- Serve as a subject matter resource for quality databases, registries, and reporting platforms.
- Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement through thoughtful analysis of large, complex datasets.
- Participate on multidisciplinary committees and improvement initiatives, providing timely data and analytical expertise to support organizational goals.
- Maintain and update quality resources, reports, and documentation to ensure stakeholders have access to accurate and current information.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors Degree, Required
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in healthcare analytics, quality improvement, performance improvement, clinical data analysis, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of healthcare quality metrics, value-based care, patient safety, and performance improvement principles.
- Experience collecting, cleaning, validating, analyzing, and presenting complex clinical and operational data.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret and summarize statistical information.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience using Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Experience creating dashboards, reports, and executive presentations for diverse audiences.
- Knowledge of healthcare data systems and reporting platforms such as Tableau, Premier, Midas+, REDCap, RL Solutions, Press Ganey, Binary Fountain, Care Select, Centricity, Mirah, SurveyMonkey, and other clinical reporting tools is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare data sources.
- Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience supporting change management initiatives and performance improvement methodologies is a plus.

Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees.
