North Dakota State Hospital is seeking a Quality Data & Process Improvement Specialist in the Jamestown, ND area.Hiring Range: $79,080 - $131,808 per year depending on experience.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, normal business hours onsite North Dakota State Hospital.
As a Quality Data & Process Improvement Specialist, you will provide advanced analytical, quality, and process improvement support across the North Dakota State Hospital. You will work with clinical, administrative, and support departments to evaluate organizational performance, analyze quality and operational data, review workflows, identify trends and process gaps, and develop practical solutions that improve efficiency, compliance, and service delivery.
In this role, you will:
- Lead and facilitate quality and process improvement reviews across hospital departments.
- Analyze quality, clinical, operational, compliance, and performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Evaluate workflows and operational practices to identify inefficiencies, process gaps, and barriers to effective service delivery.
- Work directly with frontline staff, supervisors, managers, and leadership to evaluate processes and develop practical solutions.
- Conduct quality, compliance, and operational reviews and assist departments in addressing identified concerns.
- Develop performance measures, monitoring tools, audits, and reports to evaluate organizational effectiveness.
- Investigate data discrepancies and identify potential documentation, workflow, or operational causes.
- Evaluate policies and procedures and recommend improvements based on operational needs, quality findings, and applicable standards.
- Facilitate implementation of approved process improvements and evaluate whether changes are achieving intended results.
- Communicate findings, trends, risks, and recommendations to managers and leadership to support organizational decision-making.
- Participate in hospital-wide and HHS initiatives involving quality improvement, organizational performance, and process evaluation.
To be considered for this position, you are required to have a bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Nursing, Health Information Management, Business Administration, Quality Management, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. You must also have three years of progressively responsible experience in healthcare quality improvement, compliance, healthcare operations, auditing, performance improvement, process improvement, data analysis, or a related field.The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and facilitation skills, including the ability to analyze complex information, identify trends and root causes, develop practical solutions, and communicate findings and recommendations to a variety of stakeholders.
