The OpportunityAs the senior Quality leader on site, you will have ownership of the Quality Management System (QMS) and play a key role in elevating quality performance across the operation. This role offers the chance to balance hands-on engagement with growing strategic leadership as systems mature and the team develops.
What You'll Do:- Lead and continuously improve the site Quality Management System (QMS), including procedures for raw material acceptance, in-process controls, and final inspection
- Serve as the primary quality partner to Operations and Engineering, driving improvements that reduce cost of poor quality (COPQ), scrap, and rework
- Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and customer complaint investigations
- Prepare for and support internal and external audits, including ISO-related activities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of four Quality professionals, strengthening capability and building future leaders
- Ensure quality measurement, inspection, and testing equipment are properly maintained and utilized
- Track, analyze, and report quality trends, risks, and improvement initiatives to division leadership

What We're Looking For:- Experience: 7+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing quality, including leadership responsibility in a quality, engineering, or operations role
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
- Quality Systems: Strong experience improving or managing a Quality Management System in a manufacturing environment
- ISO: Experience working in ISO 9001-certified environment; hands-on involvement in certification or re-certification activities preferred
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead small teams, influence cross-functional partners, and drive improvement initiatives
- Problem-Solving: Strong root cause analysis, corrective action, and continuous improvement skills
- Certifications: Six Sigma, Lean, or ASQ certifications are a plus
