Full Job Description
The Defense Sector of Leidos has a career opportunity for a talented Quality Control Analyst to support a program in the Decision Advantage Business Area. This position serves as a member of a team with the responsibility to ensure quality service is provided to customers through the generation and control of program processes, performance of internal process audits and consistent facilitation of structured improvement activities.

This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining technical quality assurance and control systems to prevent defects in delivered products. Duties may include defining and implementing standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting, and evaluating the precision, accuracy, and reliability of client and/or company products. Using existing or developed systems, identifies failure trends and verifies consistency of design standards throughout the entire product lifecycle, from design through delivery. Analyzes post-delivery reports and feedback for trends and recommends actions to correct procedural, product, or process deficiencies. Works to achieve day-to-day objectives with moderate impact on the area/ project team. Works independently on larger, moderately complex projects/assignments. May assist other technical staff with tasks and assignments. Addresses somewhat complex technical issues/problems using internal best practice and through collaboration with colleagues. Develops solutions to technical problems that require depth of technical knowledge but are typically limited in complexity. Communicate with colleagues across multiple areas (project managers, other technical resources, etc.). Explain technical solutions, practices and procedures to others within the organization. Requires working knowledge of and ability to apply standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques of technical domain.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in Planning and Documenting the Receipt & Shipping Inspections, document & control any non-conformities, inspections of kitted material to verify conformance to requirements, assisting with evaluation of firmware to affirm it is up to date. Review shipping requirements for accuracy, completeness, authorization, destination, special handling/labeling requirements. Monitor Inventory Accuracy, inventory counts maintaining records for customer knowledge and auditing purposes. Maintain records for Quality Assurance purposes. Assist with internal and external audits. Other duties as required.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelors degree and 2 or more years of relevant experience or Masters with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience supporting Software Development Projects (in QA/QC or another capacity).
  • Experience with Agile Principles.
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Experience with peer reviews.
  • Experience with process auditing.
  • Experience defining, collecting and analyzing metrics.
  • Ability to multi-task, complete tasks without direct supervision, and function in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Proficiency with Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence).
  • Proficiency with MS Office products and collaborative tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams).


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience supporting Hardware Assembly/Integration Projects (in QA/QC or another capacity).
  • Lean Six-Sigma Green Belt.
  • Certified Lean Six-Sigma Black Belt.
  • Experience with GSA and/or Department of War-administered contracts.
  • Experience with MS Power Automate.
