The Quality & Compliance (Q&C) End-to-End (E2E) Distribution Excellence lead supports the identification, development and execution of end-to-end distribution quality and compliance programs at the major MedTech distribution hubs. This role drives priorities from strategy through implementation by partnering closely with Distribution Hubs, Supply Chain, IT, Finance, Commercial, Transportation, and other collaborators to align work, remove barriers, and deliver distribution excellence outcomes.

This role exists to provide dedicated execution leadership for complex, end-to-end distribution quality and compliance priorities that require cross-site coordination, clear ownership, rapid issue resolution, and consistent follow-through to protect market supply, improve distribution reliability, and support service to customers and patients across all product platforms managed in the main distribution hubs. Supports all MedTech businesses.

The role reports directly into the Q&C E2E Distribution Excellence Director.

Key Responsibilities:

In accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position will:
  • Implement distribution quality improvement initiatives and programs that improve quality, compliance, cost, service, and supply continuity, with clear achievements, owners, and performance measures.
  • Support a structured governance to advance program execution, support portfolio reviews, prioritize risks, resolve issues, and enable timely leadership decisions to ensures execution subject area across scope, schedule, cost, and quality.
  • Develop or support cases for improvement initiatives; track delivery progress, lead risks and dependencies, and ensure completion within defined scope, timing, budget, and quality expectations.
  • Support cross-site/functional collaborator alignment to accelerate delivery, remove barriers, resolve execution gaps, ensuring priorities are coordinated across distribution centers, Quality, Supply Chain, and project teams.
  • Own resolution management for events that may impact market supply, customer service, product availability, quality, or compliance by coordinating issue, driving containment follow-up, aligning root cause actions, tracking closure, and communicating status to collaborators.
  • Lead or support deployment and implementation of selected quality programs.
  • Analyze end-to-end distribution performance to recommend and implement improvement initiatives for the major distribution hubs (MLC & CDC, EDC, RDC and others as required).
  • Design, develop, deliver and sustain data-driven process improvements, digital tools, automated solutions, reports, and dashboards that improve visibility, strengthen execution, support business requirements, and communicate findings to collaborators.
  • Provide analytics and insights to support recommendations, cases, and execution plans, including investment trade-off analysis, value realization tracking, service and compliance metrics, and portfolio performance insights.
  • Enables clarity through clear, data-driven reporting and insights.
  • Responsible for communicating business-related issues or opportunities to next management level
  • Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.
  • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures. Performs other duties assigned as needed

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Information Technology, Data Science or, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Quality, Engineering, or Compliance within a regulated industry (e.g., medical devices, pharmaceuticals, healthcare).
  • Working knowledge of quality management systems and applicable regulatory standards, including FDA 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485, and related global requirements.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, decision-making, analytical thinking, problem-solving, prioritization, and partner management skills.
  • Cross-functional team leadership.

Preferred:
  • Experience developing data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Lean, six sigma and process excellence tools/methodologies.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools required; experience with ERP systems, warehouse management systems, Minitab, Microsoft Project, or quality management platforms.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to perform duties in accordance with policies and procedures and in to comply civil rights requirements.
Other:
  • Proficiency (oral & written) in the English language is required.
  • 20% Domestic Travel percentage is required.
