What you'll do...
Position summary

Join Walmart Supply Chain as a leader driving day-to-day execution and continuous improvement across operations, quality, and safety. In this role, you'll oversee teams and processes that protect inventory integrity and ensure customers receive the right product at the right time. It's a high-visibility opportunity to lead people, solve operational challenges, and strengthen performance through disciplined execution and smart use of data.

What you'll do

Drive execution of the business plan for your area to deliver facility goals across production, quality, and safety

Forecast staffing, workload, and performance results; review reports to identify trends and implement operational improvements

Lead associates and frontline leaders through direction, coaching, hiring support, and development planning

Oversee QA programs to improve efficiencies and maintain inventory integrity (cycle counts, adjustments, slot profiling, damages/strays, hazmat, close-date)

Ensure systems operations are maintained and improved, partnering with IS, vendors, and regional/divisional partners for installs, troubleshooting, and repairs

What you'll bring

Experience leading teams in a logistics, distribution, or supply chain environment with accountability for performance and safety

Working knowledge of QA/inventory integrity processes (cycle counts, adjustments, damages/strays, close-date, hazmat handling)

Ability to analyze operational reports, forecast workload/staffing needs, and translate findings into process improvements

Experience ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards through clear procedures and follow-through

Comfort partnering with technical teams (IS/vendors) to support hardware/software maintenance, implementations, and issue resolution

The annual salary range for this position is $84,000-$126,000
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:
  • Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)
  • Sales Volume Category (SVC) (based on facility sales volume)
  • Complex Structure (based on external factors that create challenges)

Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g., Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Financial Management, Production/Operations Management); and 1 year experience in an operations/distribution/logistics environment, supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors; managing workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees for multiple departments / areas OR 1 year experience as a Walmart Logistics Area Manager supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing associates; managing associate workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of associates OR 3 years experience in an operations/distribution/logistics/retail environment, supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors; managing workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees for multiple departments / areas OR 1 year experience as a Walmart Logistics Operations Manager supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors; managing workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of associates for multiple departments / areas.

Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).
