Quality Assurance Specialist - CMS/Megara Collateral Management Testing

Location: Remote
Type: Contract, 18 months
Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain Reliability Status (minimum 5 years verifiable personal history)

About the Role
We're seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to support testing of a critical enterprise application - CMS/Megara (Collateral Management Services) - for a federal client. This is a hands-on QA role covering manual testing, defect management, and QA automation support for a complex, integration-heavy platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform manual testing of CMS/Megara, including functional, regression, performance, integration, and end-to-end testing to support operational priorities
  • Validate CMS/Megara interfaces and integrations, and system changes against defined business, technical, and operational acceptance criteria
  • Develop and maintain test cases, execute test plans, and document test results, defects, and supporting evidence using approved testing and defect-tracking tools
  • Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of automated test scripts and QA automation coverage, where applicable
  • Identify, analyze, document, and track defects through resolution, working closely with business and technical stakeholders to support timely remediation
  • Related activities and deliverables, as required

Required Qualifications
  • University degree or college diploma in computer science, information technology, business systems, or engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrated QA experience supporting enterprise applications
  • Minimum 3 years of demonstrated experience planning, developing, executing, and documenting manual testing activities, including functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing of enterprise applications and associated interfaces
  • Demonstrated experience validating system changes and working with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to support user acceptance, release readiness, and operational readiness activities
  • Minimum 2 years of demonstrated experience working with Collateral Management systems such as Vermeg Megara or capital markets trading platforms, in a development, support, configuration, or quality assurance capacity

Technical Skills
  • QA methodologies, including test planning, test case design, test execution, defect management, and test evidence documentation
  • Testing within complex enterprise application environments involving multiple system integrations
  • Test management, defect tracking, and collaboration tools such as qTest, Allure TestOps, Jira, Confluence, or SharePoint
  • Experience supporting Collateral Management or capital markets trading platforms

  • Must be based in Canada and legally authorized to work in Canada
