Job DescriptionPosition Summary This position requires frequent travel and onsite work at Federal customer locations, including remote locations across the United States.
As the QA/QC Lead, you will oversee quality assurance and quality control processes to ensure all materials, fabrication, and installation activities meet project specifications, applicable codes, and contract requirements. In this role, you willbe responsible formanaging inspections, documentation, and compliance efforts while partnering closely with project teams, trade superintendents, and shop managers to ensure high-quality project delivery from fabrication through final installation.
Position Details- As the QA/QC Lead, you will manage and document inspections for jurisdictional, contract compliance, and third-party requirements, includingmaintaininginspection drawing sets and coordinating final inspections.
- Coordinatejurisdictional visits with trade superintendents and ensure all required documentation is captured andmaintainedin systems such as BIM360 Field.
- Maintaincertifications for qualified personnel and continuity logs, ensuring all work is performedin accordance withapproved procedures and by properly qualified individuals.
- Ensureall materials and construction activities meet requirements for completeness, accuracy, and constructability in alignment with applicable building codes and project specifications.
- Participate in progress and QA/QC meetings, reviewing contract drawings toidentifyscope gaps or discrepancies and ensuring RFIs and submittals address any differences tomaintainalignment with contract documents.
- Document fabrication activitiesin accordance withwork packages,identifyingand documenting deficiencies in quality or accuracy throughNCRsand ensuring corrections are completed prior to shipment to the job site.
- Provide visit summaries and documentation to communicate fabrication and work package status to the project team.
- Verify that equipment and systems are installedin accordance withmanufacturer requirements, contract documents, and quality standards.
Develop and manage deficiency lists with trade superintendents and shop managers, tracking items through resolution. - Support Level 2 (L2) processes and documentation for equipment receiving and set-in-place activities, ensuring systems are ready for energization.
- Assistin resolving owner punch list items related to installation quality in collaboration with project stakeholders.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, ora relatedfield, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in QA/QC, construction quality management, or a related role within commercial, industrial, or energy projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction practices, fabrication processes, and applicable building codes and standards.
- Experience managing inspections, test documentation, and compliance requirements for jurisdictional and third-party agencies.
- Familiarity with QA/QC processes including NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), work packages, and inspection tracking.
- Experience with construction management and documentation software such as BIM360, Procore, or similar platforms.
- Ability to read and interpret contract drawings, specifications, and submittals witha high levelof accuracy.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail and quality standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across project teams, including field staff, shop personnel, and management.
- Proven ability toidentifyissues, drive resolution, and track items through completion.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.

Pay: Final pay is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. For California this ranges from $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 plus annual incentive, benefits, and retirement program as outlined above.
