Job Summary: Securiport LLC, headquartered in Reston, VA, delivers advanced biometric recognition, immigration processing, and intelligent information systems that support global border security.

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager with a strong technical background and a service leadership mindset to lead quality across multiple software product lines. This role will drive QA strategy, standardization, and automation, while establishing KPIs and scorecards to measure and continuously improve product quality. This role will involve management of quality assurance team members, hands-on work on project delivery, and creating scalable strategies to support the company's growth.
You will partner closely with engineering, DevOps, and product teams in a hybrid Agile environment to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing software solutions.

Essential Functions
  • Lead QA strategy and execution across multiple products and teams
  • Define and standardize QA processes, best practices, and testing frameworks
  • Develop and track QA KPIs, metrics, and scorecards (defect trends, test coverage, release quality)
  • Design and shepherd implementation of automated testing (UI, API, integration, performance) across all product teams
  • Experience with security testing
  • Integrate QA into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing
  • Manage and mentor QA team members; drive performance and accountability
  • Collaborate with product teams to improve quality across the SDLC
  • Identify, track, and resolve defects in partnership with development product teams and in-country operations
  • Contribute to documentation, test strategies, and release readiness
  • Promote a culture of quality ownership and continuous improvement


Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Strong experience across the full software development lifecycle
  • Expertise in test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar)
  • Experience with API, web, and system testing
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins, etc.)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS)
  • Experience defining and reporting on QA metrics and performance indicators
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills


Required Education, Certifications/ Licenses, Related Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 8+ years of experience in QA, Quality Engineering, or related field
  • 2+ years of progressively increasing leadership or team management experience
  • Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar
  • Programming or scripting experience (C#, Python, Java, or similar) preferred
  • Experience in cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure)
